Date: April 26, 2007 11:28AM I forgot to add that the people who sent me this link are the www.pinksolution.ca people who make an EXCELENT non toxic, biodegradable cleaning product. Scary stuff for sure...I have never felt comfortable using standard cleaning products... I basically use vinegar for cleaning glass, counters, mirrors. For cleaning toilets and bathrooms I use a mixture of Vinegar and borax. For dusting furniture, I use a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice (2 parts olive oil to one part lemon) and I swear it works better than Pledge. Along with being environmentally safe and non-toxic homemade cleaners are so much easier on the pocket book. Re: Chemicals In Cleaning Products Are REALLY Toxic!!!

Date: April 26, 2007 07:22PM Well, after being kinda raw for about a month, I decided to have a thorough clean at the toilets. Afterwards I had a terrible headache and Iam sure it was because of all the chemicals in it!! Re: Chemicals In Cleaning Products Are REALLY Toxic!!!

Rain, I use vinegar and borax as a toilet cleaner, but vinegar and baking soda would work great too! Re: Chemicals In Cleaning Products Are REALLY Toxic!!!

I had a yucky experience with a shapoo I had bought. It was a exspensive one. Thinking I was doing the right thing for my hair I was in the shower and started washing my hair and the heat from the hot water activated the chemicles in the shampoo and I started choking I almost past out! This freaked me out! It didn't take much brains to realize I was poisoned by my expensive shampoo and never bought this shampoo again. Really all shampoos have chemicals and the heat from the hot water can activate fuems depending how strong the shampoo you buy. My advice is...never buy FDA shampoos at the store....they can kill you! smiles...hana Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
