Are you finding frozen durians?

Date: May 19, 2007 10:12PM I'm visiting San Francisco this weekend, and I went to the Asian market where I normally get durian, and they were out. I visited a Ranch 99, which is an Asian chain supermarket, and they were out. I called another Ranch 99, and I called another larger San Francisco Asian market (New May Wah). It seems that nobody has durian here.
Is anyone else who normally buys frozen durian able to get them at this time? Re: Are you finding frozen durians?

Date: May 19, 2007 11:58PM i've been getting 'fresh' durian in my chinatown no problem. when cut open, the interior is kinda on the redish side. which to me indicates no doubt that they are iradiated. the flesh is still yum so i've been treating myself once a week.
