baby bananas...... (and a question)

BABY BANANAS....

OMG I JUST BOUGHT OUT FOOD LION ON THEM BECAUSE THEY HAD A WHOLE BOX OF THEM FOR .29 A POUND CAUSE THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE OVER RIPE...

so i bought them, i've never had one before.. i thought the kids would love them because of their cute size...

but NO ONE TOLD ME HOW GOOD THESE THINGS ARE... omg omgomgomgomgomgomg they are so sweet(but no sickingly so) and creamy and the texture is so amazing... it's like eating a THICK CUSTARD... OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOGM

i am so excited... i was so excited that i took a picture of all my fruit which i will post later... those baby bananas just made my day...

ok, so now for my question. i am getting conflicting information on calories in one baby banans.. one website says 80 another government website says 8.1.. neither sounds right to me.... they are only 3 inches long... ne who...

if anyone knows.. please tell me..... ohhhhh how perfect life is....

did you all know that you can put ripened bananas into fridge for up to two weeks? i didn't... now i know what to do with all ( or freeze for smoothies)

I have them in my yard, we call them figs. They are awesome and don't become ripe until they have black spots all over! When we have too many I freeze them for smoothies or banana ice cream, yumm...!!!

ok, so i put in a call to the Dole Corporation who is "getting" back to me on the nutrition panel for dwarf bananas/baby bananas..

i am doing some reading and discovering that the baby banans are off the same plant as the larger ones? i don't think this sounds right as the taste is SO different.... but i read that at SEVERAL ssites off a google search.....

ne who... i hope to get the info soon and i will post it here...

im not sure.... i'm really not...
they are TINY versions of the larger ones... yellow.... and about 20 on a "hand"... tell me MORE!

i would LOVE if these cheap litle treats turned out to be manzano bananas...

i will keep you all udated and please keep me informed too... any links to pics would be helpful too, but iv not been sucessful at finding any and i've got TONS of time on my hands.......
