Does anybody else have memory problems on raw?

I have been having really strange memory loss lately. I am hoping it is just part of my detox period and will resolve itself. I can't remember very familiar names without effort.

Is this common on raw?

If I stay away from fat my memory becomes extremely sharp. I can recall small details from years ago, almost as if all these details have been recorded somewhere...

I rememeber reading on these boards once about someone developing videographic memory when fasting.

I would guess it is a phase, although I wouldn't rule out high fat as a culprit if you consume it.

I don't eat much fat at all, mostly just veggies and fruit, an avocado here and there. Somebody told me that it's a sign of protein deficiency.

What can you eat for protein that's raw?

I don't like taking protein powders..

Yes Ive had this problem and im starting to think it was due to calcium deficiency (yep back to calcium again). I think this because I also had other signs of calcium deficiency like sensitive teeth, restless leg syndrome, and tetany (muscle spasms), etc.

some reading on calcium deficiency and memory:

hi cherryblossom,

all foods contain protein.

it's very difficult to not eat enough protein, unless you are really undereating.

it's not enough protein that is the problem, but too much.

fresh is right about protein; to me it sounds like you might just be really exhausted. But in any case, you should keep in mind that this could also have nothing to do with food.
