Date: July 12, 2007 07:30PM Andorra is reported to have the longest life expectancy in the world.
[en.wikipedia.org] [geography.about.com] more info on Andorra [www.state.gov] I am sure that diet can explain part of their longevity, but I am sure that their overal lifestyle also contributes. Has anyone travelled there? The 10 countries with the shortest life expectancy are in africa. [www.mapsofworld.com] Re: Andorra

The population is very small compared to other countries and when the sample size gets so small (in comparison with the other countries), statistics don't really work. (The population of Andora is 75000 which is 0.02% of the population of the USA). Rob -- Rob Hull - Funky Raw My blog: [www.rawrob.com] Re: Andorra

Date: July 13, 2007 02:33PM wow, I didn't say anthing about overall lifestyle? I guess that part is too difficult to overlook. Any small countries with short life spans? I didn't look at that list too well.
One thing for sure is that poverty, war, malnutrition will shorten ones life. By looking at the 10 lowest countries. Re: Andorra

Date: July 13, 2007 04:04PM why discount Japan for longevity? Whats interesting is India at around 62 years of age for longevity. If any country comes even close to being vegetarian, wouldn't it be India? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
