When It comes to Raw food Combining ?

Now just incase your not aware, fat and fruit dont go well together, for reasons in which are too lenghty to explain, but I've now read controdicatry information from multiple sources that avocadoes sythensis well with no acid fruits and that nuts can be digested with citrus fruits and acids, anybody know if there's truth to this ?

Quote- [www.thewolfeclinic.com]
"AVOCADOS: Though not a high protein food, avocados contain more protein than milk. They are high in fat and the small percentage of protein they contain is of high biological value. They are best used with a salad meal. Eating avocados with salad enhances their digestability. The next best combination for avocado is to take it with subacid or acid fruit. It is even better when lettuce leaves and celery are eaten with the fruit and the avocado. Since the avocado is low in protein, it may also be used with potatoes or other starch foods, provided a green salad is included in the meal. Avocados should never be used with nuts, which are also high in fat. Fats other than nuts and avocados are not recommended for regular use."

Thanks for the article Mocha. I printed out the food combining chart and have it on my refrigerator until I can memorize it. I personally have had no problems with avocadoes, but have always had them with my salad. I just have to limit them because I am trying to lose weight. Nuts I have always eaten alone...as a snack...but again, I have to limit them because of the weight issue.

It's not really conflicting information; one piece of information is a generalization, the other is more specific. Acid fruits have a lot less sugar than sweet fruits will, so they can be digested with fats.

Force the change you want to see in the world through direct, socialist democracy!
