we are new to the RF diet. we do plant a garden each spring with lettuce, beans, spinach, onions, carrots, radishes, corn, cukes, peppers, tomatoes, watermelon, & herbs. (about 8 different kinds)

what foods do you recommend to buy each shopping trip? which foods are good to have stocked up? (like basics) i have a family of 5 on a food budget. ty!

fresh fruit of whatever variety your family likes. That way all of you will benefit, even the ones who haven't gone to raw.

-Apples & Oranges are a good staple. Bananas & grapes are a good snack.

-If you have children, why don't you prepare ONE pre-cut salad in a container per day......and one platter of cut veggies & dip? (And one plate of fresh cut fruit). They'll Always have something to snack on!

-You can't control them eating junk....but you CAN make sure they have a healthy example at home.

your kids are fortunate to have parents with
raw values.

where are you located? perhaps you can find some raw
potlucks for family outings. you and your kids will get
some amazing tastes and ideas.

yesterday i bought snap peas from the farmers market.
they were even sweeter than the strawberries for sale right
beside. i even got a sugar rush.....and no crash later.

that is pretty much what weve been doing so i guess it will be easier for us to transition over. ty for the comments. smiling smiley we have been vegetarians for a while who ate dairy. no red meat at all. we use herbals for health too. have been for 13 years. we rarely eat junk food & never buy it for at home. but since we want to go raw now, we want to cut out the dairy as well. ty again.

I like untoasted nori wraps because you can wrap so many different things in them - the functionality of a sandwich.
