Juices?

I looked in the organic section of the store for pre-made raw juices. I kept coming across "gently pasteurized". Would this be considered raw?

No. Nothing in a package....that's meant to sit on a shelf for many days/weeks.....can have live enzymes. These foods have to be chemically or heat stabilized to eliminate harmful bacteriological growth. Just my observation/opinion.

You could try to find a place like Jamba Juice where you can get a days worth of carrot juice or mixture from them..I don't know about cost though.

You can buy a cheap juicer at the local wal-mart and it will work just fine. Later if you are really into juciing, then you can think about a more expensive juicer.

You can make green smoothies by adding things like, banana, blueberries, spinach, sprouts, berries, a little water or juice, all together.

Love,
Prism
