Date: August 27, 2007 03:31PM yes the peach pie was raw and very easy:
the usual crust: ground almonds, add to blender dates / rasins to taste press into pie pan, freeze 1 hr filling: blend frozen peaches and banana, cinnamon, lemon juice pour into crust and set in fridge / freezer decorate with peach slices serve while semi frozen or chilled as preferred i think i may try this for the CREAM PIE: usual crust filling: blend coconut water, coconut flesh, dates & vanila layer with banana slices freeze and decorate with banana slices and coconut Re: coconut banana cream pie

Date: August 27, 2007 05:22PM ok I have an idea for a banana coconut cream pie for you. Use whatever crust you want. For the filling put the meat from about 4 young coconuts with like 6-8 bananas and blend it in the food processor for 2-3 minutes. Then add some coconut flakes. I'm not sure what the best sweetener would be if there is any needed at all. Freeze it or if you want it to set up in the fridge cut out 1 or 2 young coconuts and use coconut oil... you have to melt the coconut oil though. decorate how you like Re: coconut banana cream pie

that sounds good with the bananas and coconut blended together i love young coconuts and bananas but after all this searching for a recipe i think i may ditch it altogether because i am on the verge of a committment to eat only local and thus no "oily food" (food grown more than 100 miles away) which may not be as tricky as it initially feels (at least thru summer) as we have alot of local melons and greens my two staples so the pie remains in my dreamland for now Re: coconut banana cream pie
