Loving Sprouts & Living Food

Date: November 10, 2007 02:55PM Since growing and sprouting almost all the food I eat(about 70%Sprouts & 30%Raw Food) I feel such a renewed sense of being and energy. I know all the Love and Energy that goes into growing and making all the wonderful recipes they help me create; and I know my body thanks Me in return.
Blessings, Mocha ? Here are some Pics. ^^Some Sprouts basking in the sun b4 being Harvested^^ ^^The left one is layered w/WheatGrass & Sunflower and the right one is 4 diff. types of sprouts^^ ^^ Got to have the Kombucha thing going on - 7 days in.^^ ^^Some freshly Sprouted Quinoa^^ ^^And finally, a delicious meal made from sprouts(sprouted – Almonds, Greens, and Veg.)^^ Any Q’s feel free to ask. *The Sprout Salad(quite simple accually): -Lots of your fav. sprouts(for me: Flax, Fenugreek, clover, Dill, & Alfalfa - HomeMade Mix) -1/2 a Tomato *Dressing: -1/2 Cucumber -1 Tbsp Flax Oil -Couple sprigs of Herbs -Splash of ACV(apple cider Vin.) -Some fresh lemon juice. Then it's just some sprouted Almd hummus I made on the other 1/2 of Cucumber - Cant waist now can we *Almd Hummus: -A good amount of Sprouted Almds(about 1-1&1/2Cs) -1/4 Flax Oil -1or2 Tsp of red Miso(depends on the Person, I do 2. -Fresh lemon juice(from about 1 small lemon). -Pinch of Cayenne & Pink Salt and the other is the BLT - if you want that recipe to, just ask. Spinach-Coco Dip: Spinach(about 1/2C-1C) -1 Coco'sPulp(from Thai) -2 Tbsp of Flax Oil -Chry Tomatoes, for added sweetness and consistency -pinch of Cayenne * May want to add some sprouted Almds if the CocoPulp is too liquidy(Just invented an adjective . Date: November 12, 2007 04:56AM Your sprout scene is very inspiring! I usually just use a jar and some screen with a rubber band but seeing your setup makes me want to try to be more productive. What sprouting jars are you using and where did you get them?

Date: November 12, 2007 11:35AM Purenkind - I use the freshlife automatic sprouters from Sproutman.com. I must warn you they can look a little intimating at first(the Price), but in the long runs its totally worth it.
