whole psyllium husks

I`ve used psyllium in some raw recipes, but I realised, that I just accepted it as a small part of the diet without questioning it. I only know that it`s some kind of plant with plenty of fiber but has it place in the raw food diet?

I've seen it listed in some raw recipes, but I don't know if it's good for us, or not. I'd like to hear what others say about it.

Love,

Gypsy

I don't think psyillium husks are an ideal food. They are insoluble fiber rather than the gentler and better for you soluble fiber found in fresh fruits and vegetables. The soluble fibers are the fiber to eat in high volumes.
