Date: November 17, 2007 04:41AM Aloha everyone,
I just had a delicious raw coconut coleslaw and kelp noodle dish at my local health food store. I'm still fairly new to raw and until today, I'd never had kelp noodles before. They are clear and crunchy with no flavor except for what you put on them. I bought a package to take home and the info on the package says it is a raw food. Does anyone know how the noodles are processed? I would be very interested to hear some opinions on this. Thanks and Aloha nui loa, Re: opinions on "kelp noodles"

Anything on a shelf packaged, is not raw, it may be uncooked. Raw food means the life force intact. There are many scams going on. I see the word raw on cookies, bottled juices and on other non foods. Things like olive oils or agave, are not raw but labeled as such. Anything processed or able to be stored, even dehydrated foods, are no longer raw, but rather just, sterile or uncooked, untreated, or unheated. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
