Organic vs. not-organic nori

Date: December 09, 2007 08:47PM I notice that I can buy either really expensive "organic, raw" nori from various vendors, or really cheap "untoasted" nori from asian markets. Does anybody know if there is really such a thing as organic nori? What is the production process like? Does everyone get it out of the ocean the same way, or do organic nori farms section it off and do something different with it? I am wanting to find out if it's really worth the price to pay more for organic nori.

Date: December 10, 2007 03:13AM yeah there are many variations, you can fill it with a pate or avocado and lots of cut up veggies, sprouts & shredded lettuce. you can even mix cauliflower and a bit of soaked chia seeds in the food processor for a raw rice!
