Probiotic Q?

I know some friendly bacteria are heat resistant, so my question is at what temp do probiotic enzymes in Milk begin to be destroyed

I assume you are ultimately concerned with the growth rates of the friendly bacteria. Lactobacillus does best at 37-43C and growth is reduced linearly at 55-70C depending on the strain. I'd take 70C as a near total death point.

I imagine it would be similar for other bacteria.
