Newest Vita-Mix, 5200 model

Date: March 17, 2008 03:44AM hello all. The newest Vita-Mix touts that it has a Eastman Tritan™ Container as opposed to a polycarbonate jug, therefore there will be no leeching of BPAs. Has anyone heard of this new Tritan material? Re: Newest Vita-Mix, 5200 model

Date: March 17, 2008 04:23PM I haven't but you'll still find conflicting information when it comes to this because there are those who firmly believe that ALL plastic leeches chemicals. There's nothing to be done about it. We just have to do the best we can and not let it steal our joy in living. If you decide to get the Vita-Mix 5200, let us know how you like it!
