Hi all, does anyone have any information on Multiple Sclerosis and whether a raw food diet has a chance to affect this disease? Any pointers most appreciated!

Thanks

Check this CN:

some things listed here... turmeric, selenium (found in highest quantity in brazil nuts), calcium, magnesium, vit D, potassium, chromium, curcumin (a spice), brewers yeast, etc. also avoidance of toxins, esp pesticides.

good luck!

Vitamin D is very important. For you the vegan type (D2) might not be good enough, you might need either sunshine or D3.

Isn't MS a symptom on mercury poisoning? Cilantro is the key herb that detoxes mercury.

No, they don't think it has much to do with mercury. They think it might be an immune system problem possibly brought on by a virus or by lack of vitamin D. They are not really sure about it.

Normal people have a fatty layer around their neurons that acts like an electrical insulator (sort of like electrical tape). In people with MS, this layer is defective or around some cells missing.
