Dried sprouted nuts...?

Date: March 21, 2008 07:56PM I've seen recipes that actually call for soaking almonds, then dehydrating them a bit so they won't be too damp for whatever they're going in. I think the little germ of life that's started by the soaking might get killed off, but a lot of the chemical changes will remain, so it would still be healthier than pre-soaking. I bet they wouldn't store as long afterward, though. Re: Dried sprouted nuts...?

Date: March 21, 2008 08:33PM You can certainly do this - and see how sustaining these nuts are for you. Try sprouting fresh sunflower seeds....and then dehydrating the sprouts a bit...and see what you think.
