Are organic store-bought prunes and raisins raw?

I would think organic is probably used less harsh drying methods but am not really sure. Does anyone have any information on this? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/23/2008 06:34PM by Joanne81. And there's no guarantee about what goes on with the "sun drying" process, but it's usually a safer bet. If it's coming from a company that deals in raw stuff, like Nujima, that's even better. Sun dried is usually tastier, IMO, and be *sure* to check that there are no nasty preservatives used to dry the fruit. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
