I am curious if anyone uses a water ionizer for the raw food diet.
I am referring to a jupiter melody or a kangan water ionizer.

No, but I just ordered the 8-stage system from
Crystal Quest. Instead of the first stage Sediment filter, I'm
going to use a Demineralizer filter. I have been using RO but
want to try filtered water for a while. I don't like the idea
of RO water in a holding tank with a rubber bladder......WY
P.S. I also bought a Wellness Shower Filter.

WY that Crystal Quest will cost a fortune in filter replacements. I opted for THIS water distiller which I've had for five years. The water is sweet and soft to the tongue. The cost of electricity to distill a gallon of water is about $.33 compared to $.99-$1.39 for distilled water in plastic bottles from the market. Cleaning the heating element once a month is cheap and easy. The only filter is a pre-filter like the one on an ice maker in a refrigerator. It costs $9.00 and lasts a year.

I'm on well water with high iron and high dissolved solids. Reverse osmosis won't work because the filters will clog in days. Traditional sediment filters won't work because my dog won't drink water filtered by them but he loves the home brew distilled water. It's good to have a water tester...man's best friend. smiling smiley

That's a nice Distiller you have....and just
perfect for Well Water. I used a steam distiller for many,
many years in the 80's. I used White Distilled Vinegar to
soften and flush the deposits that built up in my distillers
Boiling Tank. How do you clean yours?
Crystal Quests' filtering system promises water for less than
a penny a gallon......WY

I looked at those initially but having the auto fill is awesome. When the 6 gal holding tank gets down to about 30% it automatically turns on and starts distilling and shuts off automatically when at 98% full. I always have ample water on hand.
