Date: July 15, 2008 04:20PM Hey guys,
Any idea if a delicious raw hemp mix exists? With different flavors such as chocolate and vanilla? I would love to sometimes drink such a smoothie in the morning. Thanks. Re: hemp powder

Date: July 15, 2008 05:01PM I,m not quite sure what you mean by raw hemp mix. I have a protein powder which is made with hemp. It isn't palatable on its own but I put it in with a smoothie (one tablespoon). I think you could also add it to a homemade energy bar. I only use it as a recovery drink after running. I don't think I would bother if I wasn't training so hard.
Brendan Brazier markets protein drinks which I believe are made with hemp but as far as I know we can't get them in Britain. Re: hemp powder

Date: July 16, 2008 06:12PM i just throw a handful of shell-less hemp hearts into the blender with whatever else i am making a smoothie with. no need for complicated flavour blends here, i can make it all on my own with only a few ingredients. works great! Re: hemp powder

Date: July 17, 2008 04:45PM Nutiva's shakes are not 100% raw unfortunately. I called them up and asked them. However, their protein powders are 100% raw. Re: hemp powder

Another marketing scam you do not need it. Try eating them raw and see how many you can eat. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
