New to raw- is there any form of "raw" milk?

Just wondering...
Is there a raw equivalent for milk and bread?
I live in Chicago and haven't yet hit up the raw stores, but plan on detoxing with Karyn's raw in September. Just curious as to future options. I've been doing a lot of research on living raw and I'm falling in love with it.
Thanks,

you can make nut milk out of any kind of nut or seed and there are many recipes for bread, tortillas, chips, etc recipes using a dehydrator. check the recipe area on this board for more info or google. there's LOTS! have fun.

I like coconut milk. Put the juice (water) and the pulp (meat) from a fresh Young coconut into the blender and blend until smooth.

sunny- there was a shortcut idea for making nut/seed 'milk' on gliving.tv's website. Basically, instead of grinding up all the nuts manually etc, just blend together a spoon of a raw nut or seed butter, pure water and some agave syrup (or a date) to taste. Very very quick! smiling smiley

You could also make rice milk. The way I do it is rinse the rice then put it in my k-tec (you could use any high power blender) and strain it. Add flavoring* if you want to or use it as is.

* such as vanilla, allspice, etc

Wishing you vibrant health

Cashew milk -
Blend 1/4 cup raw cashews with 1 cup water. Sometimes I add a little bit of agave nectar.

You can make milk out of so many things: Almonds, Brazil nuts, Cashews, Hemp Seeds, Shredded Coconut, Almond Butter...

Bread can be made from sprouted grains, veggies, and herbs!
