Date: August 17, 2008 02:28AM Just wondering...
Is there a raw equivalent for milk and bread? I live in Chicago and haven't yet hit up the raw stores, but plan on detoxing with Karyn's raw in September. Just curious as to future options. I've been doing a lot of research on living raw and I'm falling in love with it. Thanks, Re: New to raw- is there any form of "raw" milk?

Date: August 17, 2008 11:06AM sunny- there was a shortcut idea for making nut/seed 'milk' on gliving.tv's website. Basically, instead of grinding up all the nuts manually etc, just blend together a spoon of a raw nut or seed butter, pure water and some agave syrup (or a date) to taste. Very very quick! Date: August 17, 2008 04:29PM You could also make rice milk. The way I do it is rinse the rice then put it in my k-tec (you could use any high power blender) and strain it. Add flavoring* if you want to or use it as is.
* such as vanilla, allspice, etc Wishing you vibrant health Re: New to raw- is there any form of "raw" milk?
