Date: August 25, 2008 09:01PM Hey I recently read a post that states burping after a meal means low HCL production. What foods can I eat to increase HCL production? I am very new to raw (just started 100%) maybe a detox condition? Re: Low HCL connected to burping after meals

Date: August 25, 2008 09:14PM There are many, many reasons for burping. Low HCL is only one. Eating too fast, swallowing too much air, improper food combining are just a few of the more common causes.
So, it brings up the questions: How do you know you have low Hydrochloric acid? There is a test for it, but odds are, it would be a more common cause. Re: Low HCL connected to burping after meals

I understand, these symptoms are so general it's hard to tell much from them. However, it's dangerous to read a post or article, think it fits, and act on it as if you have been diagnosed. There are no doctors on board giving medical advice. We're just a multitude of good people being helpful, sharing experiences and information. Please be sure, research for yourself, double check everything. btw - congrats on going 100% raw! Re: Low HCL connected to burping after meals
