Date: September 12, 2008 12:17AM Hey everyone! I saw David Wolfe in Long island last week, and he was saying how most grass is the same, including the kind that grows in your yard. Does anyone know if this is true?
also, I saw from an AMAZING website (http://www.blindguru.com/) that you can blend wheatgrass and then strain it through a cloth! Re: lawn grass is the same as wheatgrass?

Date: September 12, 2008 01:55AM lawn grass isn't the same as wheatgrass unless you are growing wheat on your lawn! ha ha.
the fiberousness of grass is very difficult for our digestive system to handle (cows have four stomachs after all). even if you are "able" to ingest it without noticing a negative effect, chances are that it is taxing the system at the very least. it is highly suggested that you don't eat grass or ingest quantities of that sort of fiber. chewable plant fiber is the sort that benefits humans (celery, kale etc). Date: September 12, 2008 12:55PM I agree with Coco. Grass should not be blended. The sharp fibers are not
digestible by the human body. Maybe Blending, then Straining, but I'd stay away from that too, as it's not efficient in extracting the juice. The Best way to take Grass Juice is to squeeze the Grass with a single-auger (or twin-gear) juicer, then strain it with a very fine strainer. Drink it straight, or diluted with a little water, or carrot juice. In addition to taking it internally, Green Juice also works well as a massage for the Body, Hair, and Scalp.....WY Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
