Raw Foods and Better Sleep?

Hi--
I'm working on making a switch from a junk foodish vegetarian diet to a healthy vegetarian diet with 50% raw foods (perhaps increase later)

I usually have lousy sleep and wondering if anyone has experienced a big improvement in sleep since eating more raw foods.

Yes. This is certainly the case. Remember, though, that raw foods can equally cause sleep upset through:

1) Transitioning too quickly - which puts the body into acute detox
2) Eating heavy, fatty, salty or spicy or overly intermixed foods
3) Continuing to put medications and chemicals in and on your body
4) Stress and a stressful environment
5) Eating after dark
6) Stimulants or drugs of any kind

-If the above are avoided...along with an increasing healthy diet and reasonable exercise program....then I imagine your sleep quality should rapidly improve! (just my experience).
