I was just wondering what type of plastic is okay to drink water without substances leaching into the water?

I need a big bottle of water!

If you are REALLY concerned, you could go with filtered water in a glass bottle (your choice)...and bypass the controversy completely...which is always MY personal choice. Heh..heh.

Took the piss out of you! I HOPE that means teased! Heh...heh. In any event, you could always use a Perrier bottle or whatever. I'm sure people are allowed to drink those where you work.

You could go with a stainless steel water bottle. They're very light, available at www.KleanKanteen.com, and often at health food stores.

Nalgene now makes a plastic water bottle that's BPA-free. www.nalgene-outdoor.com.

What about Arrowhead natural spring water?
I buy the case of the plastic bottles for like 5 bucks.
Arrowhead water is SO GOOD!
I dont drink it cold eather, just buy it and drink it.
I dont put it in the fridge because I understand its not good to refigerate anything in plastic containers.Besides, I dont like cold water!
There are symbols on the bottom of plastic containers that tell ya if theyre
safe or not.
Also, anyone drink "Culligan" water? Their 5 gallon bottles are also plastic!
Everything nowdays is in plastic!

Klean Kanteens are great! I would bring my 40oz bottle to work filled with green smoothie (for no one to see) then refill with filtered water at the office.

When juice feasting and needing more bottles, I bought green glass bottles of carbonated water and reused those to store my green juice. Got a few comments about drinking 'wine'? in those bottles but the green hid my green juice, and kept even more comments at bay.
