Do you know of any fruits that taste like vanilla?

Date: December 21, 2008 09:53AM I searched online for fruits that taste like vanilla and found a couple of obscure names that have no English equivalent. They are supposed to taste like vanilla pudding. One is the Pocanelle (French name), which is from Madagascar. The other is called Jaba Tacabo from Brazil. Interesting enough, there is supposed to be a banana cultivar that tastes like vanilla ice cream called Ice Cream. Too bad they don;t sell those in stores! A really ripe, super soft, organic, cherimoya has a very vanilla-fruity creamy pudding flavor to me. mmmmmm....
