fruit and teeth?

Date: January 21, 2009 04:25PM I'd like some clarification on what people mean when they talk about problems with a high fruit diet and their teeth.
Is it citrus fruit that cause the problem or is it the sugars that are in all fruits? I am really enjoying a huge amount of fruit every day until my big salad in the evening. The fruit is in the form of juices e.g celery, apple and carrot, smoothies e.g. bananas, raspberries, a medjool date, handful of spinach and pieces of fresh fruit. Re: fruit and teeth?

Date: January 21, 2009 04:45PM From what I have heard it is the acid fruits that are problematic because they dissolve away the enamel on the teeth. Fortunately there is a simple and effective practice that solves the problem. After eating acid fruits swish with some water to wash the teeth. Re: fruit and teeth?

Date: January 22, 2009 04:05AM I think the problem is not TOO MUCH FRUIT, per se, but rather NOT ENOUGH MINERALS. I don't think one can attempt a fruitarian diet until one is properly mineralized. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
