Date: February 07, 2009 07:02PM Hi durianrider
The theme of 30bananasaday was what interested me at first so I've been exploring the site for several days learning a lot. From the "Vision" section- 30 Bananas a Day is a community about personal & planetary growth, living foods, health, healing, giving & receiving love. We here at 30BaD honour Nature’s/Gaia's design and believe a lowfat raw vegan way of eating not only supports our precious animals but is what both humans and the planet thrives on... Love from the 30 bananas a day team :-) Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 07, 2009 09:33PM I sat on the live chat for about 30 minutes listening to a few people there .. I have to say if that is the kinda of juvenile chit chat (talking about d.wolfe getting it up the ass, eating meat (in the sense of blowjobs ) thats going on (unmoderated). I cant see myself being too intereste in this forum. I was actually suprised at a few names from here I know participating in this chat talking like they were 10 year olds, I hope your site and chat takes on a more positive spin then what i happen to see for half an hour ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist Edited 1 time(s). Great site Very nice to see a site that is speaking some truth and encouraging others to move forward and ditch the "raw baloney sandwiches" that are often fed to the suckers. Re: www.30bananasaday.com

I'm 'on there', but don't partake in that! It's a bit like gi2mraw - a complete mixture of personalities, ages... Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 09, 2009 05:15AM Globalresult, I can see that my wording wasn't great there...I like the site very much!
I was just commenting on the 'chat' section (which is a tiny part of the site) and what Jgunn observed there. THAT was poor, but the site overall's a great place for 811-ers to chat and swap info. Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Unlike many of the other sites I have visited. Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 10, 2009 06:54AM You're foolish if you think you can gauge someone's health & the viability of their diet by their looks, I looked good when I ate microwave beef ravolis & pizza & hot dogs and I looked good when I went raw & I look good now eating partially raw. I just have good genetics.
Look at people over 50 & then you can judge their lifestyle. My dad looked good for his age until about 60 & then started going downhill fast. You just can't judge by a snapshot alone. Also, lifestyle, attitude & genetics are all as important as diet (attitude & lifestyle probably more so). But my pics is in the photos thread in Meeting Place if you care. Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 10, 2009 09:09AM I don't think the raw lifestyle is the answer to perfect health but so far its the best answer to good health that I have found. I have been all fresh raw since Aug 1, 07 with one major slip last summer and my take at this point is that everything else that I know of is a faster track down hill. I remember my dad when he got in his late 50's started going down hill fast and when he passed 60 years old he looked like he had hit a wall head on. Everything started to go wrong with his health. I tried to get him into juicing but he stayed with a meat and potatos SAD and sedentary lifestyle until it killed him at a relatively early age. I have found the raw lifestyle to be a good health departure from SAD but I'd still like to find the fountain of youth if its out there. Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 10, 2009 10:00AM A positive attitude will increase the chances of our living longer and healthier, because more energy will be available to eliminate the toxins we eat on a daily basis. And that's one of the reasons we see people who eat 'bad diets' apparently (note 'apparently'...) doing quite well in their 90s.
But how much more brilliant they might have been if they'd eaten raw. And another way of looking at it is: if we're negative miserable b_______s, ....we'd better be eating raw! Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 10, 2009 06:59PM Who knows. Maybe they'd be less brilliant cause their light'd be caught up in worrying about food. I certainly miss the good ol' days of youth when I didn't have to worry about food but alas, they are gone now. Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 11, 2009 01:45AM Community builder,
Foolish to base someones health on looks? Wow that is kind a of a unique statement. Why do you only eat only partially raw? I thought the raw diet was the best in the world? Sorry don't have time to go to the meeting place right now to many posts but if you would like you can post the link here. Who worries about food? I know I don't makes no sense to me. Date: February 11, 2009 01:56AM Is it? Many reasons. In a nutshell : to be raw vegan you have to either eat tons of fruit or tons of nuts/oils and neither appeal to me. Also, it feels restrictive & is a pain in the ass. I have pics are on the last page of "Pictures of You" which you will find here : [www.rawfoodsupport.com] Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 11, 2009 02:00AM Yes so if people eating Raw looked like a bag of crap then this would not make you question it?
I don't think you have to eat tons of Fruit to be a raw vegan do you? So what foods appeal to you? I am curious why are you on this Raw board then? Thanks for the link by the way however I do not have to much time right now I run several successful businesses and drop in whenever I have a moment here at work. Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 11, 2009 03:25AM Well yeah, if there appearance radically alters one way or another in the course of a few years then yes, I will question the diet. However, just judging one photo knowing nothing about the person but what they eat isn't a good approach, IMO. Especially these days with photoshop and all. If you don't eat tons of fruit you either have to sprout lots of beans & grains or eat a fair amount of fat since no raw vegan food is high protein. Why am I here? Cause I was big into raw about four or five years ago & have kind of stuck around, well I got banned once for laughing at this lady who blamed the smallpox epidemic the Native Americans suffered on "eating more cooked food than usual because of the Europeans" but I made a new screenname & Bryan won't ban me again cause he knows I'm good for the site. What businesses do your run? Re: www.30bananasaday.com

Date: February 11, 2009 05:31AM I have seen a few like Paul Nilson, David Wolfe etc. use to look good when they had youth at there disposal but now not convinced at all about them.
You think people photo shop there photos on raw sites? That would be very odd. That is kind of a bizarre response by the member. Not sure if your married or not but this does make a difference when chosing Raw versus those that are single. I am a forex trader and run a couple of distribution businesses.
