I read not to eat fruits with vegetables. Actually I read not to eat fruit with anything. My question is do you think it's ok to add spinach in a fruit smoothie? Or should I just make an all vegetable smoothie? Thanks dave Re: food combining

if so it's a non issue. Re: food combining

Some people find good food combining liberating...and that it eases the digestion. Others find it a tedious rule. If you fall into the former category....go for it. Great question.

Date: February 24, 2009 07:12AM Tender green often work with fruit. However, like Dave says, you have to try it and see if it works for you. I like lettuce with bananas or dates. One of my favorite recipes is a banana-date burrito: use a romaine leaf as the tortilla, will with a banana sliced lengthwise in half and some dates, and wrap and enjoy.
