Flours in Diet

A lot of raw foodists agree that one of the worst kinds of food you can eat is processed flours/grains. Those that offer an Intermediate Diet talk about sprouted grain breads such as manna bread, ezekiel breads, etc...

my question:

ive been coming up with new recipes for cookies and burgers, and i love to soak, sprout and dehydrate buckwheat and oats...would it be bad to pulverize/grind these sprouted grains into flour? does it have the same effect on the body that regular cooked flours do?

yemango,

What do you mean by "flour?" If these grains are sprouted, then they shall grind down into a paste, which is perfectly acceptable if then dehydrated at low temps. This is how homemade Essene bread is done. If you mean that you will sprout these grains, dehydrate them and then pulverize them, I must ask why you wish to dehydrate these grains only to presumably rehydrate them again once they've been ground into flour and you want to prepare something with them? Perhaps I misunderstand you; sorry if that's the case.

You will know what effect these sprouted grains have on yourbody once you've eaten it, and should go by that response. It differs from person to person. Good luck : )
