Plants have them naturally. They are used in personal care products to keep them from getting toxic and moldy. There isn't any good evidence that they are harmful as used typically but if you wish to avoid them, don't buy personal care products. Even the so-called "natural" ones which are likely to have them in disguise or something even worse to keep the bacteria and fungi at bay. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
