What Hunter Gatherers Can Teach Us

Date: April 13, 2009 03:05AM It's usually not long after someone steadies themselves on a raw food diet that they start to question society and the way we live our lives. Why? Don't know. Must be something in the food.
I don't pretend to have all the answers, but I've asked a lot of questions and done some thinking and research on my own. One of the conclusions I've come to is that man once had a golden age, and it's probably not any of the ones cited in history books. I hope this offers some food for thought: [www.raw-food-health.net] Re: What Hunter Gatherers Can Teach Us

Date: April 13, 2009 06:31PM I'm deviating! but this film (into the wild)is just so fantastically, amazingly awesome. I guess in a way its about a dude from modern society that wants out and ultimately looks to live from the land in a hunter , gatherer fashion. There is one scene where he kills a moose and the scene is a bit bloody so .......
This is a link but yoku takes foever to load and I had to d/l in to realplayer. [www.watch-movies-links.net] nice article too , although it created a real sense of longing in my being. We've fooked it up, haven't we. Shopping trolleys and prams! Re: What Hunter Gatherers Can Teach Us

Date: April 14, 2009 12:26AM Hei Jgunn! I've just heard them on the Matrix News Network and I loved it.
They are strongly trying to continuing the project and bringing people to their way of thinking and living.I think the archteture (wright spelling?) is amazing and I'd love to have a ciment house like one of those. Also with an amazing way of living,no money,no sick society,no sick government, just a healthy way of living. I'm looking for some books to read about that and I think Jacques Fresco is a very wise man. I think they are very strong now. Re: What Hunter Gatherers Can Teach Us

Date: April 14, 2009 12:40AM theres an offshoot project based on the same thing called the new Zland project [www.new-zland.com]
vid is long but a good listen check out the book list on the venus site there is SOOOOO many good books there i love listening to jacques .. although currently i think his ideas are hard to implement .. it just takes everyone tuning in and turning around one at a time doesnt it? his architecture is very cool too i agree .. simple clean functional sustainable and ecofriendly ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist Edited 3 time(s).
