When you make nut milks is it okay to use the water that the nuts have been soaking in? or would that be bad for my stomach? thanks

Always dump out the soaking water; it can contain enzymes that prohibit digestion. It's kind of like, you don't drink the water you've washed your lettuce in, right?

Another good milk to make is from fresh melon or squash seeds. Blend, strain out the hulls with a mesh bag.
