To much depression

Date: June 19, 2009 06:39PM I have tried everything to fix my depression which I have had for years and I'm taking meds for infections and then for other things later. I don't like taking too many meds at one time. I feel like crap. So I went to the store and bought about 50 pounds of fresh fruits and veggies. If I don't want to die soon I feel that this "Living and Raw Foods" is the way to go. I know doctors like to push drugs and if they could fix you natural they wouldn't because there is a lot of money in drugs, just ask the drug pushers and addicts. Anyway I know I will back slide but when I do I hope and pray I have enough brain power to come back. Wish me luck.

healthy! And consistently doing healthy things is the BIG difference between happy people and depressed people. The happiest, most well-adjusted person I know was once depressed and on meds herself, but she didn't allow her depression to become her identity. And healthier actions inevitably leads to having healthier thoughts AND emotions in all areas of your life! The biggest problems people have in life is letting their emotional resistance to healthier living stop them from getting better and growing. Face your fears and work through your emotional resitance to change by focusing on what's good in your life and on what needs to be done (and then do it) to have the life of your dreams! You can let depression rule your life or you can take charge of it by: being aware of your problems, being accepting (without necessarily liking) of where you are right now, by taking responsibility for your existence, and by your productive actions to promote change and emotional growth. There is no better time than right now to start! And know that people here on this message board will support your efforts. Steve [www.meetup.com] [www.rawgosia.com] Re: To much depression

Date: June 21, 2009 04:47PM Good luck! I have also found that taking ionic minerals and seeing a chiropractor really helped me with anxiety and depression. Just remember, the mental state is often related to the health of your physical body. Re: To much depression

Date: June 22, 2009 01:23PM Have you seen the web-site called [www.radiantrecovery.com]?
I suffer from deperession some times and I have noticed that it is related to my problems with sugar (addiction). Apparently if you are eating too much sugary food (or refined grains, or alcohol) it affects your natural serotonin levels which is linked to depression. According to the author of the web site - sugar addiction is a real physiological problem. I worry that the high levels of sugars from fruit in a typical raw vegan diet would trigger the same problems (with seratonin) Gary Re: To much depression

Date: June 22, 2009 03:29PM Hi golden
i guess there is not much else to say that hasn't been said wishing u a SPLENDID journey!!! I like what paragon Steve had to say about accepting where you are without necessarily liking it. I think that is key. That is a good beginning. Simply accepting everything... that will paradoxically allow change to take place. Re: To much depression

Date: June 23, 2009 02:11AM Golden, I suffered from depression and I didn't know it. It is usually a form of anger turned inward. You can work on your beliefs: it's true. To help the depression dissipate, Drink tea made with either St John's Wort or Valerian. Get the dried herbs and seep in hot water, strain, and then drink throughout the day.
Also, try some healing Solfeggio tones like the ones below. I play these tones continuously at work on Realplayer in the background on low and I don't feel drained at the end of the day. Good luck. How long do you have to listen to these in a single session before you feel they're benefitting you? Or do you have to do it for weeks before you can tell? Thanks for the links; these are interesting. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
