freeze dried fruit and veggies? raw vegan?

Date: July 05, 2009 08:52PM i think it depends on the processor ... i beleive many fruits and veggies at least USED to be at one time blanched before freezing and freezedrying
im not sure if they still do that or not .. i suspect they do 
they would be vegan yes unless somehow contaminated with animal by products technically they would be raw if they havent been blanched prior to processing but they are still processed and not fresh so not ideal for everyday ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist  Re: freeze dried fruit and veggies? raw vegan?
