I have Dec/Jan off form work. I want to down to costa rica. I am trying to find out where Angela Stokes stayed... I am a female and need a place that I feel safe. Anyone know the location where Angela stayed for 3 months on her own? Is anyone interested in traveling with me this winter for a 30-60 day juice feast? Date: July 10, 2009 08:23AM Costa Rica is cheap! Ive been there twice myself. I stayed in a nice hotel with a private bathroom in my room for only 12 dollars a night (my friend and i split it, so it was 6. The room was clean. had a comfy bed...big airy screened windows...a nice ceiling fan and bathroom with shower. Very Very clean. with a restaurant below. Up the street was a place called El Loco something or other... (remember loco was in it somewhere...) they had some good vegan food...and of course all over the place theres delicious tropical fruit...so eating raw isnt an issue! this was in Puerto Viejo. Its near Manzanilla. Was a beautiful carribean flavor town.

Curiously, on her blog Angela Stokes doesn't mention the place by name, as far as I could tell by doing a search at RawReform. But it was within walking distance of the city of San José; she would walk into town to sightsee, as I recall. Maybe do a search of wellness spas in that vicinity?
