Yes, I'm just now becoming more familiar with Dr. Barnard's work. I loved his reference to Dr. Spock at the end of the interview! Dr. Spock was an early opponent of the Vietnam War. He wrote a wonderful book on baby and child care.

I'm very impressed with Dr. Barnard's positive energy!

Excellent article. Thanks for posting. I like Dr. Neal. Wish he was my primary care physician.

I saw Dr. Barnard in Indianapolis when he gave a speech. He's really good. Some of the audience were rude, too.

I saw Dr. Barnard in D.C. when he was recording a lecture for one of his videos a few years ago. It was good to be in a formally arranged group for a taping, because everyone who was there wanted to be there, so there was no heckling or debate. We just listened to the man and formulated our own opinions. I can't imagine how Indinapolis took his ideas, lordy, woo!

Thanks for sharing. I've read and own many of Dr. Barnard's books and read many of his studies on PubMed. He's authored more original research than just about any other vegan author. His book freeing yourself from food addictions (not the exact title, but that's the main idea) was eye opening for me. Along with The Pleasure Trap by Goldhammer, his reseach on how processed foods can have an addictive effect similar to opiates was outstanding. Have been a big Barnard and PCRM fan for a long time. Best.
