Nutrients in dates
Posted by: Lizard ()

Does anyone know how dates stack up nutritionally compared to other fruits? For example, I eat alot of grapes, apples, bananas, strawberries, those are pretty much my favorites. If I started making smoothies replacing the calories from other fruits with dates would I still be receiving the nutrients I need? I eat alot of greens everyday, I love my veggiessmiling smiley

I often rely on this website for nutrition and benefit information for various produce, but I don't see dates listed:

[whfoods.org]

Just a quick google search brought these up for me:

[lifestyle.iloveindia.com]

There were many other internet sources, so just do a quick google search and I'm sure you'll find alot of helpful information. Look through alot of RAW Food websites as well. I'm sure others will be very helpful.
