I don't know, I still eat a lot of it. Were you a big garlic fan & then stopped eating it? What's your experience?

garlic referred to as "stinkin' rose"

garlic used to ward off vampires

maybe if you stop eating garlic, the vampires will come back

hence

withdrawal mania

well.. i heard some stuff on how it disrupts communication between brain hemispheres so ... uh... maybe that's what's going on

the brain's honest innocent efforts to equillibriate itself after a lot of stimulation

its all electrical

i think

3 cheers for Garlic from my little corner over here! Don't know about withdrawal symptoms because I still use the stuff. =)

la veronque,
"i heard some stuff on how it disrupts communication between brain hemispheres so ... uh... maybe that's what's going on "

Boy does that explain a lot! Where I live almost everyone uses massive amounts of garlic! I often get the sense that people here aren't very good at reviewing new information, and are rather emotionally disconnected from each other. Some say that is just the culture of the people who settled here, as if it could be isolated from the living habits of the culture. Its so true that you can't seperate the body from the mind.

la_veronique,

I've always liked your name and posts, and i've been crazy since forever. As you know, forever is a long time. Is your name veronica?

My name is David and dvdai came about one night when I use to drink over 3 years ago. I was 'black'n out' and wrote it on the side of a speaker. Its kind of a cool nickname. Its homage to my artificial intelligence and entertaining ways.

But, I do have a predilection to music as well. I play in a band. We're loud and obnoxious and sometimes freaks. I could add alot more adjectives as well.

I've read about the electrical interference, but was only able to find one source so I don't give it too much credit. I can't tell if the garlic is actually affecting me or its a placebo effect.

I went on a trip back in march to Atlanta Georgia to meet some friends. With the thriving raw scene (come to south dakota if you want to compare), I had to try out some of the foods at the raw restaurants there. Most raw restaurants are extremely fat based and I was doing 80/10/10. Since then, I haven't been able to get back on the 80/10/10, but working hard. I have not read the book so I guess i'm kinda going on my own 80/10/10. I think garlic is making it harder for me to lose some weight and stick to the 80/10/10 cause of the toxins and that may result in retained water. But, hell, I don't know.

Also, when I don't use garlic for a couple days i feel scatter brained and this is a time in my life when scatter brained needs to be avoided. The garlic makes me smell as well and I'm in nursing clinicals and some patients might not like that.

I think your life is fine.

david
