Frutarian & Meditation.

Date: December 29, 2008 08:05PM For my new years resolution I'm deciding to try to go more frutarian...I might still have leafy greens but no oils or nuts.
Oh yes, I will also consume a b12 supplement. I was just wondering if this will be good for meditation? I heard that one of the people that influenced one of the first raw foodists (that black dude with dreads) was influenced by a group of meditationers that only ate a raw vegan diet. Has anyone got information on these people? Isn't it strange that most of these yogis eat a pretty terrible diet. I would have thought they would be on top of things nutritionally...Yet this is a good thing as it means that we might be able to make faster progress than they. Re: Frutarian & Meditation.

Most of my meditation is done in the early morning before anyone is up like at 5:30 am or else the day's momentum can prevent it from happening at all. Being raw makes getting up at 5:00 or earlier practically effortless. I would not get nearly as much out of meditation without being raw. Re: Frutarian & Meditation.

I think you've uncovered the Heart-of-the-Matter. The Body is 'key'. One can drive through the body, as most enlightened Masters have, but (in Theory) it's easier to use the body as the vehicle to whatever one is trying to find.....WY "In theory there is no difference between Theory and Practice. But in practice there is".....Yogi Berra Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
