Fermented though? Well, those are divine. [www.rawfoodsupport.com] Re: pickled beetroot - good or bad?

Date: August 23, 2010 12:27PM I'd eat beets any way[can't wait 'til fall!], but naturally fermented would qualify as a cultured food, yeah? Re: pickled beetroot - good or bad?

Date: August 23, 2010 05:06PM I don't know if there's a raw recipe for actually pickling beets in ACV but maybe there is. Don't know if eating it in such quantities is all that good for you though...
When I pickle or ferment it's in the perfect pickler jar which just takes a mixture of water and salt to work. I am experimenting with less and hopefully eventually no salt by adding some of the previous batch's fermented juice into the new jar. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
