Your Reading Recommendations?

Date: August 23, 2010 09:50PM I need book recommendations (I spend so much time reading and researching on the computer and I also have a home based business and I really need actual books for a change).
I don't mind recipes in the book but what I am really wanting to read is people's experiences going Raw. What to expect with weight loss and detox, how to deal with everyday situations with friends and family, etc. I do already have the downloads of Angela Stokes so I am looking for others now. If you have something you think I need to read I want to know! Thank you. Re: Your Reading Recommendations?

Date: August 23, 2010 10:46PM My latest purchase was "The Live Food Factor" by Susan Schenck. She has testimonials by various raw foodies, her own story, and massive amounts of info (it's 660 pages @ around $29.95). I have also been inspired by David Wolfe's "Sun Food Success System," and Victoria Boutenko's "12 Steps to Raw Foods." Re: Your Reading Recommendations?

Date: August 23, 2010 11:19PM Your very welcome. I actually found out about the first one on here! Books are awesome. I also value "Eating for Beauty" by David Wolfe, Ani Phyo's first book and her last one (a hardcover that has great, simple recipes for every meal, as well as fermenting foods,e tc.). Date: August 24, 2010 12:55AM Raw Family by Victoria Boutenko is a great little read! Small paperback that chronicles their move into raw foods and everything that went with it.
I really enjoyed it, I only wished that she had written more! Only 100 pages, 68 written, the rest recipes & photos. Nut, it is a genuine "down to earth" account of what they went through. Re: Your Reading Recommendations?

I've been reading about him on line and will for sure get a couple of his boooks. I also just ordered Ann Wigmore's Hippocrates program. I am in FL and have read about the institute several times. Date: September 03, 2010 08:16PM Thank you for all these! I just got my live food factor in (huge book! Biblical proportions!)
I am really enjoying reading the stories in chapter 2 (so far). I have Becoming Raw on order also. Anyone have an recommendations that are books about personal changes in Raw health or weightloss? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
