Date: September 08, 2010 08:15PM That's thoughtful of you to ask, banana who. I'm on the North Island and in an earthquake zone, but we didn't feel this one. Although it did significant damage in Christchurch (which is on the South Island), it is amazing that it did not directly cause any deaths. (Interestingly, there were record births in Christchurch!)

Date: September 09, 2010 05:00PM Does cuke actually lend a flavor to water? Its flavor seems so bland. I do love lemon, though! It is so cleansing and quenching. Trive, glad to hear that you were okay and that there were no fatalities. It was a strong one--over 7, I believe. I need to look up more about NZ--like its land mass, population, etc. It's intriguing. I have seen two movies that I think feature NZ: "The Piano" and "Whale Rider" (think that's the name--with the little girl). Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
