Who will have an all-raw vegan Thanksgiving?!

I will. I'm pretty sure Prana will.

Who else? (C'mon!)

Any Thanksgiving fasters?

If your Thanksgiving will be raw, what will you eat? Anything fancy? I'll probably have a great big salad. And I hope I can find some ripe persimmons!

Oh shucks, RocketShip. Well, even if Thanksgiving won't be all raw, I hope you will find plenty of cheer. And maybe you can still stay vegan! IMO, that's what's most important for the rest of the planet.

My husband is vegan, but not all raw. I always cook him a great big Thanksgiving vegan meal. It's only fair, because I almost never cook for him the rest of the year (just once in a while, a pot of brown rice or beans - poor guy).

I'll be at a Vipassanna meditation retreat (this is a yearly event for me), and while I stick to vegan, I can only do mostly raw there... I eat lots of fruit and veggies and salads, but can't function without a little of the cooked food, as not all days have enough raw food to keep me functional.

That's okay, though... I refuse to be all-or-nothing anymore.

That sounds very nice RaeVynn.

C'mon now. Who will be all raw on Thanksgiving? Eating raw on Thanksgiving might be the perfect way to express thanks for Mother Nature's perfect kitchen. RusticBohemian will be all raw. [www.rawfoodsupport.com]

I will, but sadly the rest of the family will not. They will eat cooked vegan.

Me and my krew are 100% so we are doing a mexican thanksgiving. Tostada shells, refried beans, guacamole, salsa, cheeze, sunflower fake taco meat, etc etc. For the season we will also do a pecan pie. Always salad of some sort. Gotta give thanks in a truthful respectful way, raw is the way for my krew! Happy holidays to yours!

Refried beans aren't raw... unless you mean a raw version?
