I've got a new religion, and it's name is Mangosteen

I've been digging into mangosteen here in Bali, and this stuff is unbelievable.

The taste is like nothing else I've tried.

I wrote about my mangosteen experience here: [www.raw-food-health.net]

Anyone else try mangosteen? Are you as infatuated as I am?

What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Ohhh, aren't they ace?

I can get them where I live at lots of different stores including some mainstream supermarkets. Tropical fruits such as these are just the bomb!

I also love mangosteen and I think they're meant to be very healthy....unfortunately I can't get them locally either...
I also love rambutan if you can get that in Bali - and I remember eating a lot of fruits called (I think) Salak or something? I loved them too.

I must be pretty lucky where I live, I get the fresh fruit, also fresh rambutans (which I don't like).

Oh, and merry, I've had salak too (also known as snake fruit because of its scaly outer skin). It's very astringent but lovely, unfortunately it apparently doesn't travel well so it's not something I can get here.

I really love all the rare tropical fruits, it's a hobby of mine to taste as many as I possibly can! So exciting, my disneyland is places like Tropical Fruit World and tropical fruit farms.
