Rome Apples

Hi. Do Rome apples taste good raw because I am in a position to buy a whole bunch but Wikipedia says this is more of a baking apple. Thanks.

Ignore the cooking advice. Rome used to be my favorite apple before I discovered Empire apples. Happy eating! Therese

Apples labelled 'good for baking' just mean that they are the kind you would choose above another if you wanted to bake with them, not that they are no good unbaked winking smiley
