how much is '1 cup'?

how much is 1 cup? I mean there are various sizes of cup.. sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but Id like to know. Re: how much is '1 cup'?

Have you ever seen anyone bake? They use cooking measures. Like this one though this is for measuring wet ingredients. [www.homebrewunderground.com] These is for measuring dry ingredients. [www.gourmetsleuth.com] I'd say with raw uncooking though you could get away with an approximate measurement. Baking is like alchemy, things need to be in the right proportions for things to do exactly what they're supposed to in the oven. Measurements in raw food prep are just about flavour so you can adjust as you like. Re: how much is '1 cup'?
