Date: April 15, 2011 03:59PM My friends used to chide my DIYness by sarcastically insisting that something I was wearing was made from wool from lambs that I kept frolicking in my yard and fed and sheared by hand. All untrue, of course. This grow-your-own-spirulina thing, well, that's Taking It Too Far, even for me. But thanks for posting; I'll see if that issue of MAKE is available online. Date: April 15, 2011 05:42PM I thought that certain duckweeds would be the next thing to grow.
[waynesword.palomar.edu] I know that some duckweeds make a lot of oxalic acid under certain conditions, but I don't know about these. Perhaps these don't because they grow them for food already in thailand. I would personally research how they are used, and how often before just growing them and eating them. Also if anything special has to be done to them prior to eating. Re: Grow your own spirulina?
