Hey folks,

curious about dried fruits. I buy organic figs, apricots and prunes from
the local organic health food store. They taste sooo good,
Just wondering if im eating to much?
I have 2-3 figs, 4 apricots, and a few prunes everyday. Along with a handfull
of goji berries.

is eating that much dried food ok?

thanks,

I eat a lot of dried (soft) figs. Fresh is always better though. Important to clean your teeth after every meal of dried fruit.

My concern would be diabetis?
and the sugar concentrated in those fruits.

I think that amount is fine if it suits you. I used to eat quite a bit of dried fruit but now that I've been raw for longer I don't feel like it any more. I think one's desire for certain foods changes over time and what suits you now may not a few months down the road.

Having said that - what you are describing is a tiny amount and I wouldn't give it a second thought.
