does juicing help?

I know this must have been discussed many times but I`m so confused about this and will really appreciate the input of other wise souls here.
I have a vitamix and I love it. But I`m also attracted to juicing. Whenever I order some at the juicebar I feel really great and it does look so pretty and clear-it does make me want to drink a lot of it!
So, as long as one gets enough fiber and whole foods is juicing healthy?
I know fruit juice must be taken in moderation but what about vegetable/green juice? I recently heard that juicing is not recommended for cancer patients. That makes me wonder whether it is good for anyone at all!
Thanks so much!

I think juicing is fine along with a healthy balance of foods. I sometimes down some juice for snacks or breakfast.

I heard stories of those who used juicing in their fight against cancer. In my view juicing is OK, but perhaps not optimal. Personally, I prefer whole foods. I think that if my body has a juicer as its extension, then perhaps I would juice. smiling smiley Still, I like blending young coconuts, even though my blender is not my body extension. I conclude that I tolerate blending, because I get the whole food that way. There must be something in the pulp that I like.

Juicing is good for you as long as you make sure you eat a balanced diet. I have a juicer and a high power blender and I make sure almost every day I have some green juice and some smoothies. People wants us to believe that because we have good blender now juicing is bad. It is an extreme position. Go with what works for you, your body will tell you. It is not advisable to live mainly on juice
